How to give Homekit access to a guest without an Apple ID?

Cupertino, June 12, 2021

My wife will be inviting a friend this summer and it will be the first time we have a guest since I started setting up my place in Homekit. There are only lights and the TVs are on for now. The person you're inviting doesn't have Apple devices and therefore doesn't have an Apple ID. How can I give this person access to turn on and off lights and TVs on their own if they don't have Apple devices or an Apple ID? Do I have to buy a HomePod Mini?
