Hi all. I am about to leave for a week in a time zone that is 8 hours behind us. My house is set up with a lot of automation (lights, gates*, fans, etc) that all run through HomeKit. So I'm thinking the automations will work normally through an Apple TV hub or whatever, no matter where my phone is. However, when I open Home on my wife's iPhone, she doesn't have an "automation" tab in her Home app. This surprised me, because I thought that if the Hub has automations, she should be able to see / edit them, the same way she can see our different scenes and select them. *gates are slightly different as they work based on a text message that is automated via morning and evening shortcuts. So my plan would be to leave everything as it is and assume home automations will work normally even though my phone is in a different time zone except for the gateway sms which I'll have to reply to automating the shortcut sms on her phone. and turn it off on my phone. Am I thinking about this correctly?
