How to turn on / off the light without specifying the color in a scene

Cupertino, January 10, 2022

Hello! I have a number of automations that involve lights that allow me to set their colors. I come from the world of Google, where my routines can only specify turning on (or off) a light; no need to say anything about color. The condition is probably stored by the lights themselves; that's why I can say "Hey Siri, set the shelf lights to green ... turn off the shelf lights ... turn on the shelf lights" and go back to green, as desired. Everything is fine and great for Siri commands, but how do I allow shortcuts to do this? All seem to automatically include a color; I don't see a way not to specify one.
