How to use the phone's charging status as a condition in an automation?

Cupertino, April 10, 2020

I want to set up an automation to turn on the lamps in the bedroom when I walk into the room if it's dark and I have a sensor that I can use. The problem is that I have cats and I don't want the lamps to light up if they detect movement from them. The solution I was thinking of would be to add a condition that says only if my phone is not charging, because the phone in the charger means I'm in bed. I could use a good night scene, but (1) I don't want to wake up, because I forgot to set it and (2) I go to sleep at different times and I want to light the lamps if I remain unusual. late etc.

So ... I searched on the native HomeKit app and Eve and saw nothing. Is it possible to use "phone = charge"?

Edit | ×: [This poster](https://www.homekit.blog.com/r/HomeKit/comments/f5zlij/secret_homekit_actions/) lists "charging the device" as a "secret trigger". Does anyone know which application allows access to it? I don't like getting $ 15 for Home + if it's worth it.
