I planned my next shopping couple and came across a fork in the road. Should I get a ringtone or a camera? We live in an apartment and there is no ringing hook. I would love to stay in the homekit ecosystem, although I have no problem using the homebridge.
I look at the eufycam 2c and I could mount it above our front door. For the ringtone, I look at the eufy wireless ringtone or a sound.
I try to weigh the benefits of the doorbell and the room bell and it's hard to see. My main concern is monitoring our front door. I'm not particularly interested in the "bell" function, because knocking on the door does the same job. If we go with eufycam we could also put the second room on the terrace. What are your thoughts?
