I really don't understand why you have to buy a bridge to connect a Hue bulb (mine is both bluetooth and zigbee) to the Apple Home app?!? If you can add other bluetooth accessories why couldn't you add the Hue bulb via bluetooth? It's so stupid. I only have this light from Philips and I don't want to buy or have more devices around the house. There must be a way to connect it to the homekit via bluetooth? Or at least add a shortcut or widget for use outside the app?
