Hue Dimmer Woes

Cupertino, September 12, 2019

I have a number of shade dimmers around the house. Most of them are added to Hue, but configured through HomeKit.

Recently, I have begun to experience a strange failure. One of the contacts stopped working. I am restarting my current hub as shown in the Home app. It fixes the switch that is not working, but someone else stops working. And even.

What makes it even more strange is that when I press a button, I see it register in the Hue App. I can also see it register in the Home App. Still, it does trigger automation assigned to the button (turning the Wemo switch or the like).

And this has been going on for a while and I can make all my shifts work.

What do I hit? Limiting the number of automations? Limitation in the number of units?

I currently have 117 units. The latest addition was Nanoleaf Remote. Not sure if the problems started after this remote was added.

Thank you for your thoughts and suggestions.
