Hue outdoor sensor does not go lower than 0.0c / 32F in HomeKit

Cupertino, November 1, 2019

I have noticed that the degrees in HomeKit have been at -0.0 c over the last few days as we have been below freezing. Checked the sensor value this morning in another shade app "Shade Light" and it indicates -7.68c.

I can see that other values are correctly updated, movement and lux values change, but it seems that HomeKit suddenly doesn't want to display values colder than -0.0c

Placed another hue motion sensor to see what happened and I could see how it updated the temperature in the HomeKit and the hue app until it went below 0.0c. HomeKit remains at 0.0c while the sensor continues to go down!
