Hue vs eve motion sensor or similar native Homekit sensors?

Cupertino, November 4, 2021

So I have a lot of HUE smart bulbs running from a shade bridge, I would like to add some motion sensors and possibly some door and window sensors to program some automations with the lights. Seeing as the HUE is not necessarily a NATIVE home kit ... I should buy something like eve motion sensors to activate the hue bulbs or I should take a hue motion sensor to activate them. I try to keep all the scenes and automations in HOME, compared to using a bunch of third-party applications for all my automations. I thought maybe motion sensors and door sensors were used to turn on certain lights to turn on when they got home.
