I am interested in information about HKSV processing

Cupertino, April 8, 2021

Has anyone ever come across detailed information about how Apple home hubs (Apple TV, HomePods, etc.) process the video for HomeKit Secure Video? I searched and couldn't find much. As I understand it, these hubs receive all the videos and then look for activity, familiar faces, etc., then send them all to the cloud. This is an impressive amount of work that a device has to do (especially if you do it on five streams) while performing its other functions, and I was curious if anyone has ever considered this effort. If anyone has links to read or has direct analysis, I would be very interested.
