I have an Ecobee 3 and their recent Eco+ change has annoyed me to the point of dropping them. The Homekit integration is not good for me. Plus their sensors are useless to me even using a Homebridge plugin.
So, not to start an Ecobee discussion, I am looking for an alternative that can be managed very well by Homekit. I prefer native Apple Homekit support instead of a Homebridge plugin if possible. I also want to avoid a Nest.
I have an electric heat pump system with no need for zoning since I live in a very small house.
