I see a lot of HomeKit compatible light switches that just replace an existing traditional lighting switch to make it controllable in the house. However, I am not looking for a switch to control the existing wiring. I'm trying to find a remote control that looks like a traditional wall switch to control the lighting in our bedroom that already has a smart outlet. My wife hates talking to Siri or pushing a button on a smart device to control the lights and just wants to push a button on the wall. I agree, but I can't seem to find this article. Is there a term for a wall switch that is purely a programmable button and not a wiring control? Thanks!
