I'm moderately new to HomeKit stuff. I'm literally just looking for a wired button to connect to the HomeKit. I didn't think it would be so hard to find one. The button is for opening the garage door. I don't need a whole smart garage door system. Just one button that sends a single power signal and then stops just as a ringtone works. The garage door knob is a bell. Literally, just an old-school rectangular bell that is connected to the garage door opening. The Fibaro button is similar to what I'm looking for, but it's not connected. My garage is detached (close enough to still connect to WiFi) and doesn't have a keyboard to enter the garage. So, to enter the garage, you have to unlock the service door with the keys or go to the car and press on the opening of the garage door. I want this button so I can start the car remotely in the garage and not have to go out to the garage and unlock my service door to then open the garage door. A kind of defeat the purpose of remote start. Does anyone know of such a thing? It has to be one thing, I just have to look for the wrong thing.
