I want to be notified when some of my devices stop responding. Is there any way to do this?

Cupertino, October 18, 2020

I have a few devices that I want to receive a notification for when they are detected (by time-out) for not being answered. I don't care about most of my devices, but for things like doors and windows and humidity sensors, I want to know as soon as a regular check has been missed. And I don't want to wait until next time I open the Home app, because honestly the goal is to be able to configure it and then not have to screw in with the configuration app every few days.

Is there a way to do this?
