I am a researcher at the University of Maryland and I study how our privacy is affected by new technologies. We are currently recruiting people who use smart devices / sensors / systems at home, such as HomeKit, for virtual focus groups, to talk about how they use devices in their homes, about the types of data that these devices collect. and also shares them on how we can design tools to improve the visualization of this data and give consumers more control over their data. If you are interested in participating, find more information and a link to a short screening survey here: [https://pearl.umd.edu/smart-home-study/](https://pearl.umd.edu/smart-home-study/) ** Incentives: ** We do a $ 75 raffle for everyone who completes the exam. All focus group participants will receive $ 30. Thanks!
If you manage smart devices at home through HomeKit, consider participating in an academic study
