I really want my current one, but stupid, fan, so be smart. However, specifically, I want to be able to: – Rotate the fan at different speeds – Dim the light, not just turn it on and off. There does not seem to be a good solution to the above. I looked at the (almost bought!) BOND controller. But I would still need to add an RF remote control, because mine doesn’t have one and I don’t seem to find one that I trust will actually work in terms of dimming. In addition, although it is not a dealbreaker, after all, the above would be just control, no state appears in the homekit. Is there a better way to solve the above (except for the status issue) besides buying a new fan ??
I’m going to buy a new ceiling fan, so stop me if you know a better solution …
