I'm in an old apartment and I'm trying to make it as smart as possible, without spending too much and without making any major installations. The thermostat in my apartment is rubbish, and I think I've found a way to make my heating system smart with a $ 14 HomeKit relay switch and a temperature sensor. I should be able to make the temperature sensor trigger the on / off function of our bad heating system, but I also want a physical button to press to make it compatible with my wife. There are a lot of simple buttons, but I'd like to find one with an "on" light so we can see at a glance if our heating system is on or not. Thanks in advance for any guidance.
