I know that the doorbell with a CV is very annoying and I decided not to buy one because of the heat. But I moved into a new house in late summer and wanted a doorbell on my back door, which is under the roof and never gets direct sunlight. I also wanted to have HKSV without the need for alternatives. So I decided to try Logitech. I have to say it worked perfectly. Answer instantly, my HomePods and the old mechanical bell ring. And he recognizes the faces and announces them. The manual says it won't work with a two-button system (front and rear buttons that sound the same ring), but once you put on a more powerful transformer, it works as it should. I had trouble running the recording functions when I installed it, but Logitech told me to restart the hubs. Disconnect / connect the HomePods and I was immediately notified that the recording is active. FWIW, I'm glad I got this one. If that helps someone make a decision, I'm glad it helped.
