In the absence of a decent HomeKit sound, has anyone ever considered using an old iPad / iPhone as a “ringtone”?

So, first of all, this is my quarantined mind. Excuse yourself in advance if this idea is just stupid. Also, this isn’t related to HomeKit, but you’re probably the easiest to talk about Apple smart homes.

I have an iPad mini 4 that currently hangs on the wall as a HomeKit “station” to browse the rooms, temperatures, etc.

If I could find a way to mount it outside, provide electricity, secure it and make it waterproof, I wonder if there is an app that the delivery type or anyone can use to simply touch the screen and to start a FaceTime Video.

Of course, put it in the kiosk mode so that it is locked, but you only have a still image with the “ringtone” icon that is touched. It starts FaceTime with me and all my connected devices.

Throughout the day, iPad / iPhone records through the front camera, saving in any available cloud solution (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).

Did he think that? Is there an application that offers such a thing?
