"Incorrect configuration code"

Cupertino, October 31, 2020

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has any advice.
Working with a Hunter Simple Connect fan.
I already have 3 and I had absolutely 0 problems. I love them. So I bought a 4th a few weeks ago, installed it and paired it and was greeted with “incorrect configuration code. I tried everything, reset the fan, turned it on, turned off the power to the other 3 fans and tried it with another iPhone. Unlucky. And I have a separate ssid for 2.4ghz, so I know it's not a problem, it tells you if you're not on 2.4 anyway.
Contacting Hunter, they decided that we had tried everything and that they would have to replace the entire fan. They didn't have the same model (Cavera), so they let me choose another one from their website. The new one arrived today, I installed it ... the exact same problem.

To exclude my network (ubiquity) I bypassed everything and configured a typical consumer router, configured it with the same SSID. However, it did not make a difference.
So, either I'm back with bad fans, or there's a problem with iOS. I'm looking!

TLDR: I have a fan of hunting. I can't associate it with Wi-Fi. He tells me the configuration code is incorrect, Hunter sent me a replacement fan and it gives me the same problem.
