Installed the ismartgate garage door opener, helps to configure the iFTTT trigger

Cupertino, October 19, 2020

I didn't use iFTTT, but I thought someone else here might have and can lend a hand with my smart garage door opener. I installed it and I can control it from Siri, so the last piece of the puzzle is that I would like to have a stopwatch, which says that after 5 minutes of opening the garage, it will close automatically. (That's where the kids leave it open). The only other thing I thought might be useful is an alert that the door opens / closes when my phone is X miles away. I'd better know if I'm out of town if the door opens. I would rather do this than receive a notification every time it opens and closes.
