A number of users are having trouble using iCloud Mail, and some customers are unable to log in to their email account through the Mail application or third-party applications.
On Monday, starting with 09:09, Eastern time, the status page of the Apple system announces a "problem" with iCloud Mail. According to the notification, the problem is ongoing and "some users are not affected".
The nature of the issue is not disclosed, other than "Users may not be able to access iCloud mail." It also seems to be a limited issue with iCloud Mail only, as other iCloud online services appear to work without reported bugs.
My iCloud email access is not active on all my devices. However, I could connect to iCloud and use Apple Mail.

Twitter posts show that a number of users are complaining about the lack of access to iCloud Mail. Although there are some reports that users do not have access to the entire iCloud account, it seems to be a relatively small number compared to the main issue reported.
Online service outages are common and have happened to Apple's iCloud products. Especially for mail-related outages, a similar outage occurred in April to the current issue, as well as sporadic global issues in May.
