iOS 13.2 released with Deep Fusion for iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max

iOS 13.2 has been in beta for some time, but is now official and ready for download. In addition to supporting the newly announced AirPods Pro, it also brings many features and enhancements, not just for newer models. However, for iPhones 2019, iOS 13.2 will dramatically improve photography on the latest iPhones with the addition of Smart HDR for medium-to-high light scenes, Deep Fusion for medium to low light, and Night mode for the dark scenes.

The update also contains Siri privacy controls, as well as new emoji for you to express yourself. You'll also be able to remove apps from your home screen, set the resolution of frames per second and video resolution in the Camera app, and more. Review the full release notes below and make sure to update them. If you own the iPhone 5, you must read it if you want to continue using your device.

iOS 13.2 introduces Deep Fusion, an advanced image processing system that uses the A13 bionic neuron engine to capture images with significantly improved texture, detail, and noise, with a reduced level of brightness, on the camera. 39, iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Additional features include updated and additional emojis, announcement messages for "AirPods", support for "AirPods Pro", "HomeKit® Secure Video", routers enabled for "HomeKit" and new Siri privacy settings. This update also contains bug fixes and improvements.

Camera

  • Deep Fusion for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max Neur uses the A13 bionic neuron engine to capture multiple images at different exposures, perform pixel-by-pixel analysis and merge the highest quality image parts , creating photos with significantly improved texture, detail and noise, especially for dimly lit scenes.
  • Ability to edit the video resolution directly from the Camera application for "iPhone 11", "iPhone 11 Pro" and "iPhone 11 Pro Max".

emoji

  • More than 70 new or updated emoji including animals, food, activities, new accessibility emoji, non-sexist emoji and a selection of skin tones for couple emoji.

AirPods Support

  • Announce messages with "Siri" to read your incoming messages aloud to your "AirPods".
  • AirPods Pro Support.

House App

  • HomeKit Secure Video allows you to capture, store and privately view encrypted videos from your security cameras and offers detection of people, animals and vehicles.
  • HomeKit compatible routers let you control how your HomeKit accessories communicate over the Internet or at home.

Siri

  • Privacy settings to control Siri enhancement and dictation by allowing Apple to store audio recordings of your Siri and dictation interactions
  • Option to delete your "Siri" and dictation history from "Siri Settings".

This update also includes bug fixes and other improvements. This update:

  • Resolves an issue that may prevent passwords from automatically filling out third-party applications.

  • Resolves an issue that may prevent the keyboard from appearing when using the search.

  • Fixes an issue that prevented you from slipping home on iPhone X or later.

  • Resolves an issue where Messages sent only one notification when the option to repeat alerts was enabled.

  • Resolves an issue where Messages may display a phone number instead of a contact name.

  • Fixes a problem where Contacts appears on the previously opened contact instead of the contact list.

  • Corrects an issue that may prevent the annotation annotation from being saved.

  • Resolves an issue where recorded notes may temporarily disappear.

  • Resolves an issue that possibly prevented iCloud backup after pressing Save Now in Settings.

  • Improves performance when using AssistiveTouch to activate App Switcher.
