iPad and other devices have accidentally forgotten all their WiFi passwords when they are away from home.

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

Hi everyone, I'm using Homekit to run some security cameras and door / window sensors. The other day I was about 150 miles from home. My iPhone notifies me that the iPad / Homekit Hub is not responding. A few days later I return home, and my iPhone will not connect to WiFi and asks for my password. The iPad is definitely asking for it too! WTF ?! I'm seriously considering switching to Ethernet. Also, since upgrading to iPad OS 14, iPad keeps asking me if I want to turn on WiFi every time I restart it, is it related to this / how can I stop this? Thanks!
