A year and a half ago, when I was living with my parents, I set up a homekit with ikea lights and access gate etc. My girlfriend and I just bought a set of ikea and gateway lights. It works fine but only on my phone. I can't share homekit with her phone and connect my iPad as a hub like I could when I lived with my parents. I read something about an update to the homekit app, but I haven't updated it. My girlfriends homekit app says something about a new update so I'm wondering if I can just create the house on her phone and connect my iPad as a hub and share it with me? Or has anyone figured out how to downgrade to the "old update" homekit. I downloaded that profile that was supposed to give me the ability, but I can't get it to work.
