I come from Google Home and my family mainly uses Google hub to interact with our smart home. I'm in the process of moving to HomeKit with a Starling hub and wanted to know if I could use an iPad on a stand in the kitchen to replace the Google hub. Our main use is "show me the room in room xxxx" and "turn the lights on / off", sometimes we use timers for cooking.
I've tested using Siri on my iPad and it can definitely show me the right camera, so it sounds doable. Thanks!
