iPad as Home Hub does not work

Cupertino, December 7, 2021

Hello everyone, I would like to set up my iPad as a Home Hub to allow remote control of the smart devices I have at home. These include some native HomeKit accessories (an August lock and a video ringtone), as well as a number of other non-native ones that I've added to Home via Homebridge. On the iPad, when I click the Home app, I see all the devices listed in a home called "My Home." However, in the settings, when I go to Settings -> Home and activate "Use this iPad as a home center," it says "You currently have no homes or home invitations. Create houses in a supported HomeKit application. ” How do I fix this? Thanks!
