Like many of you, I have an iPad that serves as a "public checkpoint" for the home. It is close to the front entrance, as it also acts as an intercom for the ground floor apartment door. (dedicated application) So, on iPad, Home is open, so anyone can turn off the HomeKit lights etc. When the door on the ground floor rings, open it has dropped the application so that we can see the camera and open the door. Now my problem is device security. Since it is authenticated, it has access to "everything". If, in the worst case, the iPad was stolen, all passwords, etc. would now be available. Apart from a physical lock of the device, does anyone have any ideas? Want to create a dedicated iCloud account and invite it home / family? Is that even allowed?
