On the AppleInsider podcast this week, we go in-depth on our iPad mini 6 review, discuss the big improvements of the iPhone 13 Pro camera, highlight more iOS Safari extensions, and share our Focus Mode tips.

Apple's new 8.3-inch iPad mini now shares the same flat-edge design as iPad Air and iPad Pro and is powered by the A15 Bionic chip. Its lightweight body style and compact design is great for casual browsing and reading, but it does come with some compromises compared to the larger iPads.

Our review of the 2021 iPad mini covers all these details, and we expand on our thoughts of who should — and should not — buy this smaller device. Plus we address some of the new display concerns on this device.

At the same time, we've now spent a week with iPhone 13 Pro and highlight some of the stand-out features including its ProMotion display, Cinematic mode, and the new camera system. One of the most impressive new abilities is macro mode on iPhone 13 Pro, which works both in still photography and video.

Focus Mode, which debuted with iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 gives users granular control over notifications, interruptions, and even home screen customization. We dive in to some of the triggers for Focus Modes, including app opening and closing, schedules, and more.

iWork was recently updated with new collaboration and table features. One of the notable additions is the ability to include a live camera feed from multiple devices, including a separate iPhone or iPad, within a slide.

New extensions for Safari on iOS and iPadOS are available and we highlight some of the most useful, including picture-in-picture, custom video controls, and more. We round out the show discussing the new Apple TV+ original show, "Foundation."
