I just spoke with the support there and it shows that the outdoor cameras support Homekit Secure Video. However, they confirm that the battery life is much shorter and, as it is a sealed rechargeable battery, it must be removed and recharged. I can't imagine that the battery life would remain the same even with constant recharging.
I thought maybe we could only store locally on the base station, but they said that the base station requires internet access, which just beats the homekit purpose for me. So, for those who have it, is it worth using HSV? Or do you have a server configuration that you are registering?
