I got rid of the Eeros, which were crap lately, and replaced it with TP-Link x-75’s. Coverage is fine but not happy with the speed. I used the same network name and password, but still had to reinstall every single switch, light, and camera (mostly Meross and VOCOlinc switches, Logitech cameras). All the Apple stuff, computers, phones, iPads were fine.
I’m thinking of returning the TP-Link’s (horrible name btw) and getting 4 Asus XT8’s, more expensive but higher speed and better security. The problem is I don’t want to spend hours and hours resetting stuff and adding it to the network. Is there a way to do the switch without the remove and add back BS? What makes it particularly tedious is to switch the net to 2.4 ghz while installing devices.
