Is it really true that there is no way to program smart dimmers to dim smart bulbs through homekit?

Cupertino, January 10, 2022

I've just gotten into the smart home thing and I really like it, but it seems like I've discovered an unbelievable limitation. I can't be the only one who wants smart light bulbs for color and dimming options, smart switches so I can control the bulbs on the wall (old fashioned) in addition to the fact that I have siri / automation, and he wants me to be able to do this in the homekit itself with any dimmer accepted and any bulb accepted ... Am I missing a simple way to do that? And the solution "creates an automation for 5%, 10%, ..." does not reduce me. Please tell, whats the story of them big puppys .....
