Is it the hardware or is it just the app?

I struggled with HomeKit in a simple configuration of an IKEA Gateway connected to a router (set to 2.4 there) and to Apple devices on 5, so that they speak correctly. Two HomePod Minis. Of course, periodically one or both of the HPMinis show that they do not respond in Home. But they respond to commands, play music, turn devices on / off, etc. Only that bottom (Settings). A reboot might work (I think sometimes it’s the fight in the HP network), but honestly … if it works, it works and screws that stupid app … So it’s the hardware or just that app doesn’t connect the way Apple wants or all that. Please wish me to spend some time and effort on this … especially as HomePods are becoming more and more popular …
