I have Soma shade engines for about two years and they have worked very well for me now. However, last week, two of my four shades stopped working and I noticed that the small drive mechanisms that move the chains with the beads were almost completely worn out. I sent an email to the company about buying new devices or at least new tools, but I didn't hear back a week ago. This is especially unusual because they have always been really responsive every time I emailed them before. Well, after a week of waiting, I decided to buy some new ones, since I thought the two-year old devices would not be covered anyway, but when I went to make the purchase my card refused because of a possible fraud.
Has anyone known or bought anything from them lately? This is really unfortunate and frustrating, as I have always had great luck with them in the past.
