Every WIRED smart dimmer or switch seems to only allow direct control of the bulb load, e.g breaking or reducing power physically via the wall switch, thus making them incompatible with smart bulbs like hue. The Brilliant tech dimmer allows you to select if you have a regular bulb or smart bulb and control smart bulbs via software and dumb bulbs the way a normal dimmer would. But unfortunately they are very $$$ and don’t seem to really be very compatible with HomeKit.
Does anyone else make a dimmer and switch with a similar ability to switch between direct to software control of the connected light loads?
