I was very pleased when I saw C by GE Reach and that GE offered an affordable ecosystem, compatible with HomeKit. Specifically, I especially have smart wall switches, with a few bulbs, so it was great to see that there is a platform that can handle them all. Unfortunately, after buying quite a lot of switches and bulbs, I learned that the functionality is minimal, and what exists is very broken.
* Switches are not supported at all and cannot be added once Reach is added to your home.
* Full color bulbs only work as adjustable bulbs, even using the GE application.
* Devices are extremely difficult to add when there is home access, but trivial using only Bluetooth
I have been trying to get to u / cbyge, since the account has been active for some time, but has been silent for over a year. So, my question for the group is whether it is time to give up on C by GE and move on to something else or if it deserves to stay a little longer, in the hope that my investment might suddenly work out in the future. air update? Does anyone know of an accessible platform that also offers wall switches and bulbs?
