I'm trying to get a Siri voice command "brain" for my house that, like an Alexa, will allow me to yell at it and have it turn on / off various HomeKit settings, as well as apps like Spotify. I also want it to have auxiliary audio output so I can connect the sound to my external speakers. I thought of using HomePod, but as far as I know it has no audio output and is not really a voice control brain, but rather a voice control speaker. Any idea? Does Apple do that? If not, does the IoT community have a choice?
