Help! I have two scenes that I want to change to control a misbehaving accessory.
I have a ZigBee upgrade wand (E-Wand gen2) to control a vertical blind. I connected it via an IKEA Dir gateway to HomeKit.
I want HomeKit to change the angle of the vertical slats to let the light in. The control is on the surface and I can manually set the angle in the app, but only as a secondary attribute. It seems that Siri can't change the angle, only the open/close command of the blinds (which would be raise/lower etc.).
To get around this, I created two scenes, one with the blinds at an open angle and one with a closed angle. What I really want is a toggle between the two, to complete the circle and have an open/close button that I can touch and control with remotes that does my version of "open" and "close".
Is there a way to do this in HomeKit?
