It feels like Abandonware

I tried to enter everything on HomeKit and found out that I have a choice between this and going all-in to home automation. Integration simply does not exist, compared to Alexa. If it included a hub that would control Hue lights, I might consider it, but the Hue app looks better than the HomeKit for lights. They made it look like everything was homekit, but it's just ... no.

Did someone else hit the same obstacle? Without Power shades, without ubiquitous cameras, without native zigbee / Zwave controllers, MyQ only works with an additional hardware component ...
