Koogeek needs 2.4 GHz network when added to Homekit, can I disable 2.4 after adding?

Cupertino, March 7, 2021

I have a router with dual networks (2.4 and 5G). I only want to use 5G since I have problems with lost IKEA devices that lose connection in Homekit and I read somewhere that a 2.4 GHz wifi connection can disrupt Zigbee devices. My problem is that I have a Koogeek switch that needs to be on a 2.4 GHz network when I add it to Homekit. Can I turn off the 2.4 GHz network after I've added it, or will it need the 2.4 GHz network to be available all the time?
