I might be the only one but I’m getting frustrated with the lack of products that are HomeKit compatible. Specifically doorbells and wired outdoor cameras.
I don’t want a battery powered camera and have to pull out the ladder monthly to charge or replace batteries (plus I have mains on the front and back). I hate the idea of having to use a Homebridge. Netatmo seems to be spinning wheels on their doorbell.
Is there a particular reason why Alexa and Google ecosystems have plenty of options whereas HomeKit is so limited? Love the ecosystem overall but strongly considering moving over to Google so I have more options.
