lag of wired devices and automation issues

Cupertino, November 2, 2021

For the past two weeks, I've had major issues with the stability of my network, along with my Nanoleaf and Eve devices on the HomeKit network. I would really appreciate to hear people's thoughts / advice. The topography is Google fiber -> eero 6 pro -> unmanaged switch -> 3 additional eero 6 pro (wired) I have three separate Apple TV 4K along with 5 mini HomePods distributed throughout the house. I'm up to date with eero 6.5. .1 .. Also updated with the latest HomePod software that came out in the last two weeks. same with Apple TV (including today's update). I have a client address disabled on the eero router and I disabled almost all the advanced features for fear that this will not cause problems. an exception is that I have the eero router function "enabled with HomeKit" enabled (this could cause problems). I've had general network issues that, based on other posts, seem to be related to the firmware of eero routers and general errors that have affected eero recently. However, I also have problems with the AUTOMATION homekit, in general, which is not triggered when my sensors are activated (for example, opening and closing the door sensor, motion detector, etc.). Interesting and annoying in the Home application, if I go to automation and click to "test", it starts correctly. Frustratingly, it is not obvious or reproducible and the automations seem to decrease a few hours a day, however, sometimes it will start working again apparently without me making any changes. I also noticed that when the automation stops, if there are timers on the automation to stop things after an X number of hours (for example, the sensor turns on the light, goes out in 1 hour), that aspect does not seem to work. In addition, I have a bunch of THREAD devices throughout my house, mostly Nanoleaf base bulbs and eve sensors. I've noticed more and more in the last two weeks that all wired devices flash "no response" in the Home app, making them virtually unnecessary and / or sometimes frustratingly slow and delayed activation. He seems to be working only about 50% of the time in the last two weeks. Wild frustrator. I looked at the network thread of the eve application and it shows all the devices in the wired network. Is it possible that all of these issues, including the thread issue, are related to my routers? Is this a widespread problem with Apple's new firmware for HomePods and TVs? I tried the power cycle of my eero routers and HomePods. I also tried a soft reboot of the eero router. I tried to disconnect all my homekit hubs. None of this seems to have worked and is becoming increasingly frustrating. I tried to talk to eero tier 1 customer support, but although they are generally friendly, they seem quite useless and get to the root of any problems (mainly it only offers tips to restart the network or perform another soft restart). Hopefully the above makes sense. I have so many sporadic issues that it's kind of hard to narrow down or explain, except that my smartphone is behaving extremely badly and I'm wasting a lot of time and thoughts ... it would be grateful for someone else's ideas or advice. Thank you in advance!
