Let the child control the lights in the bedroom

Cupertino, March 14, 2021

We're moving into a new home and we're changing our smart children's speakers from Google to Homepods. My son likes to control his lights through his smart speaker. I don't think Apple HomeKit allows me as an administrator to specify what accessories it can access, so I think I need to invite it and give it access to all the accessories in HomeKit? Is there any way to allow him to control only the designated objects in his room? The other thing I liked about Google Home was that it recognized the person speaking. So when my son said "turn off my lights," he knew it was just his lights. Do you have any ideas / suggestions?
