Can I connect the lock to HomeKit before actually installing it on the door? I would like to first get involved and see what I am capable of doing (for example, turn off WiFi and Bluetooth on the iPhone and see if it works / runs on the street and try) before installation. I am very focused on buying a lock that I can unlock from a distance, because my parents and my wife will help a lot with our new child. If this doesn't work as I anticipated, I might have a deadlock!
