LG is collecting feedback to decide which 2018 models to bring HomeKit / Airplay 2

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

I just sent an email to LG (link here: [https://www.lg.com/us/support/email-appointment](https://www.lg.com/us/support/email-appointment)), if they had a list of all the 2018 TV models that would receive the Homekit / Airplay 2 firmware update and what the version number will be. They don't seem to have a public list yet, but according to the email (I've included a screenshot below), they are currently collecting VOCs (voice of customer tickets), which helps them decide whether to bring assistance to a certain TV. I went ahead and sent one for the LG 2018 49SK8000PUA TV. TL'DR: If you have an LG 2018 model and are looking for HomeKit support, be sure to send a VOC. :) -------------------- Update 1/26: New update 05.30.10 for my LG model has come out! I imagine that the same could be true for other models from 2018 that were waiting as well.
