I have the LG TV (55 “UN7400) connected via Ethernet and set up in the Home app. However, I would never be able to turn it on again! Looks like you need to have the TV connected to a WiFi network as well as Ethernet to be able to restart it. and for it to display correctly in the Home! [Connection/Mobile connection management/TV on with mobile] page showing that “WiFi activation” has been activated. Bluetooth start-up is also an option that explains why some people said they could turn it on when they were close to the TV. My TV now works as I intended, no problems ☺️ I hope this will help someone! Edit: it worked initially, but it’s still weird, at least it appears in Home as Off, although it’s an improvement.
