He just raised the children's room now to replace the Yi room in the nursery. After being added to HomeKit I was disappointed to find out the following:
- Only one device in a row can stream video to HomeKit. If my wife checks the child in the Home application and tries to do the same, I will get an error: "No answer. Wait for someone else in this house to stop seeing this room and try again. " I contacted the assistance and they told me that this was designed to work. I know that one of the users could open the application ares to check the child instead, but the beauty of HomeKit is that you do not have to open a lot of different applications. It's annoying, especially since my other 3 rooms allow more people to watch a stream in the home app at the same time.
- Night light does not work well in the home application. The color change is delayed and works only if you have 50% or less darkness. If you exceed 50%, the color turns white, no matter what color you set it to. Strange.
These are just my first impressions. I only had this room for a few hours. Anyone else have a better child room experience in HomeKit?
