Anyone familiar with a camera that is homekit compatible that will let you listen to the sound in the background? We had a Motorola Baby Monitor that would let you turn on “background listening”. So if you close the camera and lock your phone. You could still hear the audio. We used this a lot at night. We didn’t need to have the view on all night, but being able to hear the audio from the camera in the background on our phone was nice. As it stands I have switched to Eufy and they are great. Except I have to put it on a iPad, turn the brightness all the way down and use homecam to hear it at night.
Anyway, anything out there to listen to a cameras audio in the background? If not, we need that feature added. It’s nice for so many scenarios.
