Logitech Circle View Doorbell Notifications

Cupertino, May 26, 2021

Hey, the HomeKit community! I've been using Circle View ringtones for a few months now and I've noticed something. It's hot outside here, now my family often walks through the front and back doors during the day. Instead of my Apple devices buzzing and playing every few minutes, I decided to go into notifications and select the bell notification and under People, I chose "when I'm not home". My thought is that I will receive a ringtone notification at any time, whether it is at home or not. But when I'm home, I don't get ALL the notifications anymore, and when I'm not home, I get all the notifications (I'd like that). I don't have a bell, because we only use our phones to know if someone is ringing. Does everyone else experience the same behavior? How can I stop notifications for any small movement and be disturbed only when someone rings the bell? Do I make this too complicated?
