Since switching to a Circle View ringtone, I've been a little unhappy with desktop notification options. I don't have the same level of control over what is alerted for when (I'd like to ignore cars). And even bigger, all I get on MacOS is the notification that there is an alert. I don't get a thumbnail like on iOS. I'd like to get a thumbnail so I know if I should look or not. This is the biggest thing I miss from the ring I replaced. Do you have any suggestions if there is third-party software that I could run that would give me a functionality similar to the one I have on iOS by getting a thumbnail?
